HAWKWIND The Space Ritual (Vintage Unused 1985 UK 20" x 30"
poster intended to promote the release of the "Space Ritual Volume 2"
double album, depicting the entire front & back colour gatefold image
on one sheet in all its glory, with the white space at the bottom
presumably left blank for annotation use. The artist name is in red at
the top & only "The Space Ritual" is worded in white at the bottom
above the artwork with no mention of the album as a second volume.
The poster is rolled, unbacked & the condition is the best you will ever
find, as this example went unused with no pinholes in the corners or
any writing or tears. Very cool & ideal for framing)

HAWKWIND Astounding Sounds 1976 (Rare 1976 UK 20" x 30"
Barney Bubbles designed poster for the Atomhenge tour with Tiger,
never available for retail sale. The poster itself has been stored
folded, with just small pinholes to the corners where it has been
previously been displayed and only a certain degree of age yellowing
to the reverse. There is a small amount of edge wear along the
bottom edge but none of this would be visible once framed - A true
Hawkwind gem!)

little creasing at the edges where it hasbeen stored rolled, and a
certain degree of age yellowing to the paper. None of this would be
particularly evident once framed and glazed. There is a small amount
of historic oil staining by the use of poster putty in the corners to

HAWKWIND Hawkwind Live (1986 UK 24" x 33" poster for the
November & December Hawkwind Chaos tour, never available
for retail sale & printed on to thick paper stock. The poster
itself remains in unrestored condition, with just a little light
creasing at the edges where it has been stored rolled. None of
this would be particularly evident once framed and glazed.
There is a small amount of historic oil staining by the use of
poster putty in the corners to mount the poster at some point,
but it remains as a consequence free from any pin holes, rips
or tears. As this features artwork borrowed from the iconic
'Space Ritual' image and the 'Live 79' Hawk, this would look
incredible mounted and framed!)

HAWKLORDS Hawklords Tour (Wonderful 1978 UK 20" x 30" Barney
Bubbles artwork poster for the tour featuring a striking silhouette
image & with the October & November tour dates at the bottom. A
brief re-branding for the Hawks before they realised the error of their
ways & returned to being the Hawkwind that everyone knew & loved
again. This poster has been stored quarter folded & apart from those
obvious creases, remains in very nice condition indeed. There are no
rips or tears & very little creasing. Ifyou look very closely, you can
still see the oil marks where the poster was once affixed by its corners
to the wall or door of a shop, ticket outlet or venue, but the corners
are actually reinforced by small rectangles of paper, so this effect is
minimal. This would look amazing framed!)

HAWKWIND Hawkwind Does Live! (Incredibly rare 1970 UK 10" x 18"
full colour promotional poster with artwork designed by A. Tanner for
the debut album on Liberty. Compared to some of the psychedelic
offering that were to come, this is quite a reserved poster for
Hawkwind, my suspicion being that it was issued by the record
company [Liberty] for in-store display. It has all the right ingredients,
just not arranged or presented in the eccentric ways that the band
would later explore. Theonly text on the poster [apart from the 'A.
Tanner' artists name at the bottom] is the band name at the top with
'Does Live! A new album on Liberty' immediately below & the Liberty
logo & LBS 83348 catalogue number at the bottom of the artwork.
Now, I've seen a few Hawks relics pass through here ... a Hurry On
Sundown demo, a cloth bag Sonic Attack ... but they were all well
documented if F. rare. This is something I've NEVER seen
before & didn't even suspect it existed until a couple of days ago. The
source, authenticity & date period is without question, so this is indeed
an official Liberty poster for the debut album. It is also MINT, having
been stored rolled in amongst many other period posters from new.
Gobsmacking stuff & easily enough to shave the cheese off of your
Pizza. Probably the rarest Hawks item I have ever come across,
simply because I've never seen it before & I thought that I'd seen
everything Hawks related. Extremely F. Rare !!!)
