STAN TRACEY Showcase (Rare original 1958 UK 12-track 'microgroove' LP on Vogue Records. Features early recordings of Stan performing a number of standards recorded that year in London with Ike Isaacs, Kenny Napper, Phil Seamen, Johnny Hawksworth and Ronnie Verrell. The picture sleeve displays a young and dapper Mr Tracey, 'showcase' in hand, and is fully laminated with secure flipbacks, showing a little laminate lift and minimal ringwear. Side 2 has a 'SAMPLE COPY - NOT FOR SALE' rubberstamp. The vinyl plays cleanly both sides - an excellent copy of this Brit-jazz rarity! VA160130)
